Academic and Professional Journey

I hold a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Universitas Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have been committed to advancing knowledge in information systems and artificial intelligence, contributing to both the academic community and regional development.

Research and Innovation

My research is focused on the practical application of artificial intelligence to solve complex problems. I am actively engaged in developing AI solutions, including LLMs and RAG systems, to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Furthermore, I am involved in initiatives aimed at the digital preservation of cultural assets, such as the automatic coloring of traditional Ulos motifs, combining heritage with cutting-edge technology.

Teaching and Mentorship

In my role as a lecturer, I am passionate about equipping the next generation of professionals with essential digital skills. My teaching focuses on database management, business analytics, and the ethical application of AI. As a mentor and Academic Advisor (Dosen Wali), I work closely with students to cultivate their critical thinking, digital literacy, and research capabilities.

Community Engagement

I am deeply committed to serving the community through various outreach programs. My involvement in “Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat” (PkM) includes practical projects that address regional needs, such as assessments at the Forestry Management Unit (KPH) in Doloksanggul. I also play a role in the strategic development of IT Del, contributing to the establishment of new academic programs like the Master’s in Artificial Intelligence.
